Playing venue: Ruiskatu Campus
Our playing venue is the Ruiskatu Campus Cafeteria at Ruiskatu 8 C, Turku. There are several entrances to the Ruiskatu Campus, but you can find us at entrance C. The doors are locked but we'll meet you at the door before every event. If there's no one at the door, you can contact the event organizer.
Arriving at the venue
Ruiskatu Campus is located near the centre of Turku and is well reachable by public transport. If you come by car, you can reach Ruiskatu Campus from Ruiskatu (from the direction of the swimming hall and daycare). There's a lot of free parking space available during evenings and weekends. You can also reach Ruiskatu campus easily with Föli buses:
You can reach stop 785 (Vanha Hautausmaa) with bus line 6A which runs every 20–30 minutes. The bus leaves from Market Square's stop D1.
You can reach stop 505 (Kaurakatu) with bus line 8 which runs every 5–15 minutes. The bus leaves from Market Square's stop D3.
From stops 785 and 505 you can continue following the paths marked on the map to reach entrance C. When returning you can reach the city centre from the opposing bus stops 795 and 463. The buses run every 5–10 minutes during busy hours but in the evenings you might have to prepare for longer waits. You can find more info about the bus routes on the Turku region traffic website.
The accessibility of Ruiskatu Campus
The path to the playing hall (cafeteria) is accessible. There's an accessible-marked toilet near the playing hall but it's quite small. There are also two gendered toilets nearby which are not accessible. In our events all the toilets are non-gendered.
The cafeteria is lit by fluorescent lights. The area is usually fairly quiet during our events but there might be sounds coming from the chess clocks during tournaments. We ask you to take into consideration people who are sensitive to smells and come to our events scent-free.

Places to eat near the playing venue
The nearest restaurants are Limos and Orion. You can find more options from the shopping center Skanssi which is located about 2.5 km from the playing venue. There's also Kupittaa Citymarket which is also about 2.5 km away. The nearest grocery store is Sale Petrelius which is located on Ruiskatu about 300 m from the playing venue. Our microwave oven is free to use.
